Ipernity is a French site were they claim you can post and share anything. In reality this means many post porn, found on the web, movie and music downloads. There is very little content from photographers.
The site has no viewer or member content filters and is still in Beta mode. Activity seeems to be slow. Most groups have no activity taking place, only a few French members seem to bother. I also saw many accounts that were closed or suspended. I posted over 100 photos and joined some community groups but after a few months I gave up.
In summary, I would not recommend Ipernity to a friend.
